Well, gone are those days of trotting around with a sweatshirt or light jacket. We've had plenty of the the white stuff dumped upon us here in northeast Ohio. It's actually pretty nice...but that is coming from this mommy that looks at it from the window and doesn't venture out much in this cold. :-) The way I see it--I'd rather have some snow if it's gonna be cold out. Then we'll be so much happier when Spring arrives and we see flowers!
Life is going good. This past weekend we made some progress with house projects. We visited HOME DEPOT and had fun! We picked out knobs and handles for our kitchen cabinets. FINALLY--after four years of opening them the hard way!!! It makes things look so complete in the kitchen. He also converted an old (really cool and unique) cabinet/cupboard type piece of furniture into an entertainment center for our living room. It looks sooooooo nice! We added a shelf and put up our F-A-M-I-L-Y display. (see pictures!) :-)
The girls are doing great. Addie has rolled over....is eating baby cereal, using her vocal chords more, blowing zurberts, and of course laughing at her big sissy. Paige loves watching her movies, doing crafts, helping feed Addie, and doing stuff with daddy. This includes making trips to the scrap yard to recycle! (and going out to eat--which is part of time with daddy!)
I'm enjoying getting the house all organized, making cards, keeping up with some reality shows (Apprentice & American Idol) and recently hosted a "Girls' Night In"! That was fun and I plan on doing it again in February. It was a time to have some friends over and eat snacks, relax, do a little craft, a hand parafin dip, and enjoy time together on a winter night.
Erik has been working hard as usual. He has a heater out in the garage now, so working out in the cold isn't so bad. He's had some side work and also some time to work on his big truck. Plus, he's been motivated to do some household projects. We also started a financial video series.
I guess that updates life a little here. Better get moving for now. Signing off from SNOWY and cold Middlefield. :-)
